SNECON is designed with an unstable center of gravity and a unique head-fin structure that creates an ultra-wide S-shaped swimming action on a simple steady retrieve. Even as a single-body lure, it produces a dynamic snake-like motion that activates predators that ignore conventional lures.
The fat body generates strong wobbling and rolling, while the internal free-moving weight balls create irregular S-curves and a natural rattling sound. This unpredictable movement mimics a distressed baitfish and attracts fish from a wide area.
The width of the S-curve increases with current speed and distance from the angler. In calm water, similar action can be achieved with stop-and-go or varied retrieves. Worked like a pencil bait, it also produces a side-to-side surface motion.
Despite its unstable swimming behavior, the shifting center of gravity moves rearward during casting, ensuring excellent casting distance comparable to a sinking pencil. The through-wire construction provides maximum strength for powerful fish.
